To obtain representative data, particle loss in sampling tubes must be minimal; otherwise, the magnitude of losses known so it can corrected. Since sample occurs through various mechanisms and depends on size, airflow velocity, Reynolds number, there is no simple method to predict multitudinous configurations tubes. This study aims present a for experimentally determining as function sizes. Moreover, applicability existing models verified experimentally. An ultrasonic atomizing nozzle was used generate micrometer-sized polydispersed particles challenge aerosols. Following charge neutralization, size distribution number concentration upstream downstream are measured by an Aerodynamic Particle Sizer.
